"Jesus is not an idea, He’s my reality."

Constance Dees is bringing an entirely new sound to the Gospel music scene. Her unique blend of Worship, Urban Gospel, and Contemporary Pop sound is both comforting as well as authoritative. From her warm low tones to her smooth falsetto, her sound invites listeners in to experience Christ in a whole new way.  "I believe that we were designed for the purpose God etched within us, and my desire is to use every God-given gift, talent, expression of creativity to glorify His name and expand the Kingdom of Christ."

She began her music journey when she and her three sisters formed a group called "Redeemed". The sisters ministered at Christian events throughout the Cincinnati and Dayton area and released their only single, "Father God" in 2001. Redeemed took a break in 2007, and it was at that timeConstance began her solo career.

Constance Dees just released her debut project, "Never Abandoned". The mixtape project is a thought-provoking and transparent album that combines real life experiences with a biblical point of view, bringing a fresh perspective for the Christian community. "I believe our life stories are some of the greatest demonstrations of God’s awesome love that we have," Constance states.

Born in 1989 in Dayton, Ohio, Constance emerged onto the Gospel/Contemporary scene at the age of 25. Led by the Holy Spirit, Constance continues to gather skills as a singer/songwriter.

The most important thing to Constance is that listeners see Christ. "It wasn’t until I encountered Jesus face to face; broken, dirty, desperate, and alone, that it became real to me. In that moment He looked me in my eyes and offered me unconditional love in spite of all I had done.  He wrapped me in the warmth of His embrace. It was at that point the scriptures began to come alive. The Holy Spirit accepted me as I was, filled me, and has been transforming my life ever since." Her music is a testimony of the redemptive power of the cross and the lengths God goes through for His children.

Constance has ministered at the Women’s Empowerment concerts of both the Bowling Green and Dayton chapters of the National Council of Negro Women. She has collaborated with numerous artists and ministered at the project releases of: Jerod Grant and Zadok Priesthood, Kaleb Starr, Salt, Jillian Ellis, Dezignated Believer, and Kevin Ross. She also ministered at Jonathan Dunn’s Refresh concert, an annual conference for Fresh Anointing Impact Church. As her ministry grows in and around the Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton areas, her goal is to continue to add to her ever-increasing local audience while working toward a national platform. "I am determined to use my testimony for His glory," she declares. "If my audience is anything like me, they just want to know that someone understands what they are going through, and more importantly that God understands." Constance strives to create relatable music that reminds listeners of the eternal, unshakeable hope they have in Christ.

Get. To. Know. Constance.
